Global Apostille Service
The Apostille is a simplified procedure for international document authentication, applicable to member states of the Apostille Convention (Convention on the Abolition of Requirements for the Certification of Foreign Official Documents, signed on 5 October 1961). It replaces traditional consular legalization, enabling documents to be used directly in other Apostille member states without additional certification.
Applicable Documents
Personal Documents: Birth certificates, marriage certificates, divorce decrees, police clearance certificates, passport copies, etc.
Business Documents: Company registration extracts, powers of attorney, contracts, etc.
Legal Documents: Court judgments, notarized deeds, wills, etc.
Educational Documents: Academic transcripts, diplomas, degree certificates, etc.
Processing Steps
1. Document Preparation
Ensure documents are issued by competent authorities, with clean pages and legible handwriting—free of smudges, unauthorized signatures, or markings. In some cases, documents may need pre-completion.
2. Submission to Certification Authorities
Applications are processed by designated bodies, such as ministries of foreign affairs, courts, or secretaries of state offices, depending on the country.
3. Apostille Stamp Issuance
The certification authority affixes the Apostille seal, legalizing the document for use in all Apostille member states.
